GFT Committee
COMMITTEE
We are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff led by a committee of 16 dedicated volunteers. Every year the committee members plan the list of teen friendly products for each bag. They work to collect donated cash, community grants and new goods, and purchase wish list items in bulk. Finally, members organize and wrap the gifts to prepare to be packed in sturdy new duffels.

IMPACT
The GFT committee works with groups of many community volunteers on workdays to fill bags to the brim and tie each with a beaming bow. Volunteers come from community organisations, corporations, clubs, AAUW, and many local high schools.

Through the Gifts for Teens project the plight of underserved teens is highlighted in the community, raising peoples' awareness of Silicon Valley at-risk teen's needs.
These special gifts offer each teen comfort at the holidays and help them feel they are not alone.
